We got the water pen as a gift and wanted to have something that our 2 year old could use on the go but this product and related ones are quite a disappointment. The quality of the drawing material is poor, it’s hard to clean and we had to make sure that our daughter didn’t accidentally write on it with something OTHER than the water pen that it came with – which she eventually did, basically rendering this product useless.
For the cost, I’d recommend getting a coloring book & a box of crayons instead.

As the mother of a very active 2 yr old boy, this toy is one of his favorites AND one of mine! I love it because there is NO MESS!!! It’s a great toy for at home or in the car, at the airport or virtually anywhere! I would highly recommend this item to other moms!

Very convenient! My son can write as much as he wants without messing up his playroom. No need to buy ink because it’s water based.

I like these as a parent because I do not get marker all over my walls, carpets and tables! lol The kids like them, but hate to have to wait for them to dry.

We purchased this item to use during a 2000 mile car trip. There is no mess and the water marker is easily refilled. The kids seem to like it too, though it only really holds their attention for a few minutes at a time. Since the trip, it has been perfect for letting my 20 month old “draw” without worry of markers on the walls.
