I snagged this dollhouse for [...] during a sale. For that, it was a great buy. It was slightly irregular once assembled, but nothing to obvious or that would make it any less fun.
I don’t know that it’s worth Amazon’s current [...] price tag, and I definitely wouldn’t have shelled out for one at the retail price. But if you can find it on sale, it’s worth it.

We got this for our two year old, and she absolutely loves it. I didn’t think she would be to wild about the people bit she takes those everywhere with her. Now the five year old playes with it too, which she’s never been into things like that really. Would definitely recommend to anyone considering this!

After all the positive reviews on this dollhouse I decided to go for it after lots of research. I also have always been extremely pleased with the quality of Melissa and Doug toys, have never had a problem. This dollhouse however, a very different story. Upon taking the box out of the Amazon box we noticed it was covered in water damage. Not good. The pieces inside had various problems- one of the outside walls looked like it was cracked and then patched over, several other pieces were bowed and did not fit together correctly. Many pieces had many small splinters along the edges. Overall it looked like some factory reject. I was shocked and appalled. I highly doubt this will make it through more than one child. Good thing we got in on sale for half off. However, it is my daughters main Christmas present, and tomorrow is Christmas Eve so we’re sticking with it. She is 3, so will certainly overlook the imperfections. I’m sure she will enjoy it.

I bought this Dollhouse for my two daughters. We have been looking for a good solid piece that will last for sometime but at a reasonable price. After receiving it in the mail from Amazon I was pleasantly surprised by how easy it was to put it together! It went together VERY quickly! It is sturdy and well made! I decided to paint the inside rooms, which look great! They are going to be thrilled to get this product! Thanks!

We assembled the doll house. The instructions were well stated and easy to follow. All of the parts were present and accounted for, and fit quite properly. Overall time for assembly was approx. 45 minutes. It is a sturdy, functional, fun dollhouse that can withstand our granddaughter, who is a precocious 2 year old. We added a “nursery furniture” (Ryan’s room) for the third floor. Our granddaughter loves it, because you can see the third floor easiest of all. The furniture is cute and sturdily age appropriate, as is the entire doll house. The finished product is indeed a charming dollhouse.
